Former husband of Chautauqua County woman missing for 8 years in police custody

BUSTI, N.Y. (WIVB) — The former husband of a Chautauqua County woman who’s been missing for eight years is in police custody in Kentucky.

The Huffington Post first reported the arrest of Ken Anderson in Richmond, Kentucky.

His former wife, Corrie Anderson, vanished in October of 2008.

Police here have never named a suspect or person of interest in her disappearance, but police in Kentucky call Ken Anderson a suspect in Corrie’s missing persons case.

Anderson is accused of holding his current wife against her will in a Kentucky motel.

New York State Police sent investigators to Kentucky to interview Anderson. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
