Holiday Valley to open this weekend

ELLICOTTVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) — Skiers and snowboarders can get their gear ready, because Holiday Valley is set to open this weekend.

The resort announced on Monday that they plan to open for their 60th season, weather permitting, on Saturday, Nov. 26.

From 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Holiday Valley plans to have three lifts operating. They are the Yodeler Quad Chairlift, the Mardi Gras Xpress Quad Chairlift and the School Haus Quad Chairlift.

The four slopes that will be open are School Haus, the Candy Cane loop, Mardi Gras and Yodeler.

Ticket prices are as follows:

  • $50/adults, $40/juniors for eight hours
  • $45/adults, $35/juniors for four hours (available Saturday and Sunday)
  • $25/adults, $18/juniors for night tickets that start at 3:30 p.m.

Services provided by Holiday Valley include food, beverages, shopping, rental equipment and lessons.
