Jerry Gillis on The Bible’s Antichrist

Jerry Gillis

Leader Pastor, The Chapel

Jerry Gillis is the Lead Pastor at The Chapel in Getzville, N.Y.

Gillis was interviewed for “The Bible’s Antichrist: Real person or symbolic?”, a special report.

He says one can’t talk about the subject of antichrist without including the Bible’s book of Revelation.

“Actually Revelation leaves the door open for a wide variety of images relating to civil religion , allegiance to other temporary kingdoms instead of the kingdom of God,” said Gillis.

“I think that our energy is always best spent on the real thing,” he said. “If you were trying to be someone who figured out counterfeit dollars you would want to know what the real thing looks like more than you would want to know what the counterfeit looks like.” provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
