BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Around 1,500 or so people will be flocking to Larkin Square Friday evening to get in on this year’s Holiday Live at Larkin fun.

This is the fifth year for this event at Larkin Square, and is set to run from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

The big draw this year will be a free concert by local music collective Robot Holiday, which will be performing original holiday songs.

The event will also feature several food trucks and a holiday market with handmade wares from including the handmade works of Devil Chicken Design, Beautiful Cookies, Elizabeth’s Granola and more.

Part of the proceeds from some sales and donations will help benefit the Food Bank of Western New York.

Event goers are also encouraged to support the Response to Love Center by bringing a new pillow or a donation to purchase a pillow for people in need this holiday season.

Everyone who comes out will be able to enjoy the festivities on the heated weather-protected Boardwalk as well as inside the Filling Station, where hot apple cider will be served up spiked with BFLO Distilling Co’s apple brandy, made right in Larkinville.
