Man sentenced to 65 years-to-life in prison for double shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The man found guilty of a double shooting in North Tonawanda that killed Mark Sternin, 27, was sentenced to 65 years to life in prison.

Buffalo native Dominick Cruz shot Sternin and Tyler Sadauskaus, 24, this past January. Saudauskas survived.

After this, Cruz was confronted at his workplace, but authorities were unable to arrest him there.

Eventually, Cruz was located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania after receiving a tip. He was charged with murder, attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
