Bonnies best Bulls in Big 4 battle, 90-84

Jaylen Adams' 29 points lead the way for St. Bonaventure in Western New York clash

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. (WIVB) — UB and St. Bonaventure don’t always face off on the hardwood, but when they do, they prefer a close game.

The Bonnies outlasted the Bulls 90 to 84 at the Reilly Center, led by 29 points from star point guard Jaylen Adams. Nick Perkins led UB with 24 points, while Blake Hamilton chipped in 20. Hamilton’s three-pointer with 22 ticks remaining brought the Bulls within two points, but the Bonnies held on in the end.

The win brings St. Bonaventure’s record to 5-2, while the loss dropped UB to 4-4. Shannon Shepherd has a report from the Reilly Center.
