The team announced on Wednesday that they have agreed to a restructured contract with the quarterback.

Taylor’s new two-year contract with the Bills is worth $30.5 million. He is guaranteed $15.5 million. This year, Taylor will make $14.5 million, and in the next, $16 million.

His salary cap was $16 million, but was dropped to $10 million.

“We are excited about the opportunity to keep Tyrod with the Bills,” said Head Coach Sean McDermott. “I’ve gotten a chance to know Tyrod and study him over the past several weeks and he is both a great person and competitor. Doug and I are confident this was best move for the Bills at this time.”
