2 men accused of credit union robbery

LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two men were arrested in connection with a robbery in Lancaster.

Lancaster police say Michael Frisch, 30, and Kevin Wood, 56, held up the Lancaster-Depew Federal Credit Union on Brunswick Rd.

The robbery occurred Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

Lancaster police say detectives stopped the getaway vehicle after receiving a report of what it looked like from officers at the scene.

Both men, who are from the Rochester area, were charged with robbery and grand larceny.

Wood, who is currently on parole after being convicted of 11 felonies dating back to the 1980s, was taken into custody without bail. Frisch was taken into custody on $100,000 bail.
