Medina High School star Jalin Cooper heading to Toledo for football

Cooper will play wide receiver for the Rockets.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Section VI star athlete Jalin Cooper made his college decision on Wednesday, choosing to attend University of Toledo.

Cooper, who finished his junior season as the 15th ranked recruit in the state of New York, will play wide receiver for Jason Candle’s program.

“I think it is the best fit for me in the long run as a person and as a football player,” Cooper said in an exclusive interview with News 4 Sports.

The Medina Mustang chose the Rockets over half a dozen programs such as Syracuse, Connecticut, Washington State, Wake Forest and Temple.

Toledo is in the Mid American Conference and plays University at Buffalo each season.
