LAKE ONTARIO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Extra patrol officers will be back on the waters of Lake Ontario Monday.

They want to make sure a wake zone Gov. Andrew Cuomo put in place two months ago is enforced.

Various agencies will be patrolling the lake.

Boaters who violate the five MPH speed limit face fines of up to $250 for each violation.
