U.S. Government: Americans are spending less this Summer

WASHINGTON (WIVB) — It looks like the majority of Americans are spending less money this Summer, according to new data from the U.S. Department of Commerce.

As U.S consumers make up a majority of economic growth, this data shows that confidence in the economy is also dropping.

After President Trump’s delays to cut taxes, studies show Americans are losing hope.

On the upside, growth is still strong and unemployment is low.
