Deputy rescues owl from Grand Island soccer net

GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) — A deputy with the Erie County Sheriff’s office rescued an owl from a soccer net in Grand Island Tuesday morning.

Deputy Kopacz went to Veteran’s Park around 11:30 a.m., where the owl was found entangled in the net.
