Olmsted School student charged with illegally posting video of another student

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – An Olmsted School student has been accused of posting a video of another student urinating on a social media platform.

The 16-year-old male student was arrested and charged with unlawful surveillance and disseminating unlawful surveillance just after 9:30 a.m. Monday.

The student was in direct violation of the District Code of Conduct and will be disciplined in accordance, a spokesperson for the Buffalo City School District said Tuesday afternoon.

“The Code of Conduct speaks to common expectations in protecting the dignity of our students,” the statement said. “The Board of Education is committed to providing a safe, productive and positive learning environment within its schools.”
