BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo Police have made an arrest in a hit and run accident that occurred early Tuesday morning at Colvin Boulevard and Hertel Avenue.
A 32-year-old Buffalo woman fled the scene after her vehicle struck another vehicle traveling on Colvin just before 7:45 a.m. Tuesday morning after the woman pulled out of a driveway in the 300 block of Colvin Boulevard.
The vehicle that was struck slid before landing on its side. The driver, a 68-year-old Buffalo woman, had to be extricated from the vehicle. She was transported to ECMC where she was treated and released.
The 32-year-old driver fled the scene, but was located by police in the 300 block of Linden Avenue a short time later. She was charged with criminal possession of narcotics, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident.
