Buffalo Kickoff LIVE: Prediction & Keys to the Game Bills Vs. Dolphins

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – No longer in control of their own destiny, the Bills not only need to keep winning to keep their playoff hopes afloat, but need help throughout the AFC as well.

Can they pick up their 8th win of the year at home against a hot Miami team?

Josh: Get to Jay Cutler — The Dolphin’s quarterback has found his stride the last two weeks, throwing for nearly 500 yards and five touchdowns on their current two game winning streak.  But, if there is one thing we know about Cutler is he’s not afraid to take chances and if you annoy him, it’ll throw him off his game.  That could bode well for the Bills’ opportunistic defense.
Prediction: Bills win 17-16

Nick: 3rd Down — The Bills punt with such regularity you’d think it’s one of those “scripted” plays on Sunday.  Buffalo has struggled on 3rd down all season long — it’s why the offense has struggled to find a rhythm throughout the year.  On their current two game winning streak, Miami has allowed just one third down (Patriots went 0-for-11 on Monday Night Football).  Tyrod Taylor and the Bills have to keep things manageable and avoid 3rd and long situations and convert when they have the chance.
Prediction: Bills wins 20-13

Thad: Contain Kenyon Drake — No Jay Ajayi, no problem for the Dolphins.  After a slow start to the season, Drake has rushed for 434 yards with 234 coming over the last two weeks.  Tackling has been an issue at times for the Bills.  If they’re able to stop Drake on first contact and prevent him from busting loose, it could be a good day.
Prediction: Bills win 27-23

Scott: Tyrod Taylor — A week after sitting out the “Snow Bowl” with a knee injury, Tyrod Taylor returns for this pivotal Week 15 showdown with Miami.  How effective will he be?  Will he be mobile enough?  Can he make the big throws?  The Bills need a solid performance from the QB to keep the playoff hopes alive.
Prediction: Bills win 20-17
