BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The home of Bishop Richard Malone was broken into, police confirmed to News 4.

In addition to that, his vehicle was stolen.

Rochester police have a person of interest in custody. They say Buffalo-area resident Joshua Hobes, 20, was seen driving in Rochester early Thursday morning.

Hobes was charged with two counts of criminal possession of stolen property, along with traffic citations.

As officials continue to investigate the burglary at Malone’s home, Buffalo police say additional charges are possible.
