VIDEO: Q&A with “Save the Michaels” Foundation creator on opioid epidemic

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Erie County leaders say there was a decrease in opioid overdose deaths from 2016 to 2017.

While they’re making progress, they agree more needs to be done.

Avi Israel and his wife Julie started the “Save the Michaels of the World” after their son lost his battle with opioids in 2011.
